Ardahan Province (Turkish: Ardahan ili), is a province in the north-east of Turkey, at the very end of the country, where Turkey borders with Georgia. The provincial capital is the city of Ardahan.

BedileTürkgözü (former Badele) is a village in the Posof district, Ardahan Province in north-eastern Turkey with a population of 388 (census 2000). It is a border crossing point to Vale in Georgia. Türkgözü is 97 km (60 mi) north of the province center Ardahan and 16 km (9.9 mi) northeast of Posof. A number of historical structures in the village, among them churches and graveyards, point to the early settlement of the place, which was formerly called Badele. The economy of the settlement relies mainly on agriculture, livestock, beekeeping and trade. The place is widely known for its \"Badele apples\". Show Bedileon the map

Chaldir-Gel LakeLake Çıldır (Turkish: Çıldır Gölü, Armenian: Ծովակ լիճ Tsovak lič, Georgian: ჩრდილი, ტბა Črdilis tba, meaning \"lake of shadows\"), is a large freshwater lake in the Ardahan Province, northeastern part of Turkey. It is located at 41°02′33″N 43°15′19″E / 41.0425°N 43.2552778°E, close to the borders with Georgia and Armenia. Lake Çıldır is located at the elevation of about 1,900 m (6,200 ft) and is surrounded by a mountainous region. It has an area of 123.00 km2 (47.49 sq mi) and a maximum depth of about 42 m (138 ft). Water from the lake is used for irrigation.Show on map
