The Municipality of Škofja Loka (Slovene: Občina Škofja Loka) is a municipality in the Upper Carniola region of Slovenia. The seat of the municipality is the town of Škofja Loka. The municipality was established in its current form on 3 October 1994, when the former larger Municipality of Škofja Loka was subdivided into the municipalities of Gorenja Vas–Poljane, Škofja Loka, Železniki, and Žiri.

Stara LokaStara Loka (pronounced [ˈstaːɾa ˈloːka]; German: Altlack) is a settlement in the Municipality of Škofja Loka in the Upper Carniola region of Slovenia. It is one of the oldest Slovene settlements first mentioned in documents concerning the lands Emperor Otto II granted to Bishop Abraham of Freising in the Duchy of Bavaria, dating to 973 AD. It was the original settlement of Loka and by 1286 it was already mentioned as Stara Loka (Old Loka). Show Stara Lokaon the map

Sv. DuhSveti Duh (pronounced [ˈsʋeːti ˈduːx]; German: Heiligengeist) is a village in the Municipality of Škofja Loka in the Upper Carniola region of Slovenia. The church in the centre of the village is dedicated to the Holy Spirit. It is Gothic in its origins with the original sanctuary surviving, but was largely rebuilt in 1856. Some 15th-century frescos survive in the sanctuary and the belfry is from the 17th century. Valterski VrhValterski Vrh (pronounced [ˈʋaːltɛɾski ˈʋəɾx]) is a small settlement in the Municipality of Škofja Loka in the Upper Carniola region of Slovenia. The church in the settlement is dedicated to Saints Phillip and James. It is Late Gothic with a star vaulted sanctuary. Frescos in the sanctuary are by Jernej of Loka and date to soon after 1534. Bukov VrhBukov Vrh (pronounced [ˈbuːkɔu̯ ˈʋəɾx]; in older sources also Sveta Sobota, German: Sabatberg) is a dispersed settlement above Poljane nad Škofjo Loko in the Municipality of Gorenja Vas–Poljane in the Upper Carniola region of Slovenia. The local church is dedicated to Our Lady of Sorrows, locally known as Holy Sabbath Church (Slovene: sveta Sobota). It was originally a gothic structure but was rebuilt and expanded in 1739.
