Rečica ob Savinji is a town and a municipality in Slovenia. It belonged to the historical region of Lower Styria and is now included in the Savinja statistical region. It was created as an independent municipality in 2006. Before that it was part of the Municipality of Mozirje. The parish church in the settlement is dedicated to Saint Cantius and belongs to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Celje. It was built in the mid-17th century on the foundations of a 12th-century church. Various adaptations were made at the end of the 18th and 19th centuries.

HomecHomec (pronounced [ˈxɔːməts]) is a settlement above the right bank of the Savinja River in the Municipality of Rečica ob Savinji in Slovenia. Traditionally the area belonged to the Styria region and is now included in the Savinja Statistical Region. The Lešje manor house in the settlement was first mentioned in written documents dating to the 14th century. In the early 20th century the original L-shaped building was converted into a rectangular structure with a steep roof. Some of the original Baroque wall paintings are preserved on the exterior. Traditionally the area belonged to the Styria region and is now included in the Savinja Statistical Region. Rudenek Castle, also known locally as Lekše Castle (Slovene: Lekšetov grad), was a 14th-century castle in the eastern part of the settlement. It was expanded in the Renaissance but abandoned and destroyed in the 18th century. Some of the enclosing walls are still visible, and two stories of one of the original towers survives.
