The Municipality of Hrpelje–Kozina (Slovene: Občina Hrpelje - Kozina) is a municipality in the Littoral region of Slovenia. Its main settlements are Hrpelje and Kozina. A major border crossing to Italy is located in the municipality at the village of Krvavi Potok. It connects to Pese di Grozzana in the Municipality of San Dorligo della Valle near Trieste on the Italian side.

KozinaKozina (pronounced [kɔˈziːna]; Italian: Cosina) is a settlement in the Municipality of Hrpelje-Kozina in the Littoral region of Slovenia, close to the border with Italy. The village developed only after the railway was established; in 1825 there were only three houses in Kozina. It became an important center for teamsters, with twelve inns with stalls for teamsters' horses. Today it lies at the intersection of the Ljubljana–Koper freeway with the Trieste–Rijeka route. The Italian writer Scipio Slataper wrote his masterpiece Il mio Carso (My Karst) in Ocizla. Between 1933 and 1940, a cell of the anti-Fascist insurgent organization TIGR was active in the village.
