The Municipality of Destrnik (Slovene: Občina Destrnik) is a municipality in northeastern Slovenia. The seat of the municipality is the settlement of Destrnik. It lies in the Slovene Hills (Slovene: Slovenske gorice) north of Ptuj. The area was part of the traditional region of Lower Styria. It is now included in the Drava statistical region.

Zgornji VelovlekZgornji Velovlek (pronounced [ˈzɡoːɾnji ʋɛˈloːu̯lɛk]) is a settlement in the Municipality of Destrnik in northeastern Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Styria. The municipality is now included in the Drava Statistical Region. There is a small chapel-shrine with a wooden belfry on the regional road from Ptuj to Lenart v Slovenskih Goricah in the settlement.
