TaroudantTaroudant (Berber: Arabic: is a city in the Sous Valley in southern Morocco. It is situated east of Agadir on the road to Ouarzazate and the Sahara desert and south of Marrakesh. The town is known as the \"Grandmother of Marrakesh\" because it looks like a smaller Marrakesh with its surrounding ramparts. In the sixteenth century, the Saadians briefly used Taroudant as a capital before they moved onwards to Marrakesh. Today, the city has the feel of a small fortified market town on a caravan route. It is the largest town in Tata Province.It is situated on a desert plain of the Sahara Desert, southeast of Agadir and Taroudannt, close to the Algerian border and the mountain range Anti-Atlas at the foot of Jebel Bani. Tourists use the town as a base for excursions in the area. Tata lies on the N12 highway between to the north-east of the regional capital Guelmim and to the south of the neighboring region of Drâa-Tafilalet. ReggadaThe Reggada (in amazigh areggada or imedyazen) is a Moroccan musical genre of Rif, in the north-east of Morocco. This dance and this music comes from an ancient war dance of the Rif fighters, called Aarfa or imeyazen. TissintTissint, also known as Agadir Tissinnt, Agadir Tissint, or Tissinnt, is a small town near Tata, Morocco in Tata Province in the Souss-Massa region of Morocco. It has a population of 9,927 as of 2004. Tissint was the site of a meteorite fall on July 18, 2011. In October 2011, nomads began to find very fresh, fusion-crusted stones in a remote area of the Oued Drâa intermittent watershed, centered about 50 km ESE of Tata, Morocco and 48 km SSW of Tissint, near the Oued El Gsaïb drainage and also near El Ga’ïdat plateau known as Hmadat Boû Rba’ine. The largest pieces were recovered in the El Ga’ïdat plateau, and the smallest ones (a few grams) were found closer to the El Aglâb mountains. One 47 g crusted stone was documented as found at 29°28.917’ N, 7°36.674’ W.Show on map

The airport is located in the commune of Temsia, 20 km southeast of Agadir proper. In 2007, Al Massira International Airport served 1,502,094 passengers.
