BzouBzou (بزو) is a town in the northwest corner of Morocco’s Azilal Province, just off the main road between the major cities of Beni-Mellal and Marrakesh. The sprawling commune of Bzou is composed of various Berber (a mix of Tashelhit and Tamazight) and Arabic speaking douwars tucked into the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains. The main, Arabic speaking cluster of douwars (Lamdarssa, Douwar Shms, Foum Sheaba) forms Bzou's heart; on its flanks are an assortment of smaller, generally Berber douwars up in the surrounding mountains and cradling the banks of the river Oued el Abid. OuzoudOuzoud Waterfalls (Amazigh: Imuzzar n wuẓuḍ, French: Cascades d'Ouzoud) (110 m high) are located near the Grand Atlas village of Tanaghmeilt, in the province of Azilal, 150 km northeast of Marrakech, in Morocco. Ouzoud means \"the act of grinding grain\" in Berber. This seems to be confirmed by the frequent mills in the region. It is the most visited site of the region. In the vicinity, green valleys, mills, orchards and a superb circuit of the gorges of the El Abid River (in Arabic, \"Slaves' River\" ) are found. Beni MellalBeni-Mellal (Berber: Ayt Mellal, Arabic: بني ملال‎‎) is a Moroccan city. It is the capital of the Béni Mellal-Khénifra Region and has a population of 489,248 (2010 census). It sits at the foot of Mount Tassemit (2247m), and next to the plains of Beni Amir. The city has good connections via the road to Casablanca to the East and lies on the ancient route - now a national road - from Fez to Marrakech. DemnateDemnate (Arabic: دمنات‎‎) is a town in central Morocco, located at the foot of the high Atlas Mountains roughly 110 km east of Marrakech. The majority of the population speaks Berber; the local dialect is Tashelheit, as well as Darija and some French. Demnate is the oldest city in the south as it used to be a linking point between the Moroccan south and Marrakech. The Berber villages that surround Demnate are still full of tradition and have some of the most beautiful natural scenes in the entire south. The city is surrounded by beautiful mountains and close-by natural attractions, including the natural land bridge Iminifery, dinosaur traces, and the Ouzoud Falls.
