MukhraniMukhrani (Georgian: originally Mukhnari i.e., \"oak-grove\") is a historical lowland district in eastern Georgia, currently within the borders of Mtskheta-Mtianeti region, north of the town of Mtskheta. It lies within the historical borders of Kartli, bounded by the Kura River, and its two affluents: Ksani and Aragvi. Strategically located on major transit routes traversing ancient and medieval Georgia, easily irrigable and fertile, Mukhrani was an economically advanced area and, in some sense, a link between Kartli’s lowland and highland districts. P’asanauriPasanauri (Georgian: also spelled Passanauri) is a small town (daba) in Georgia, situated in the Dusheti district, Mtskheta-Mtianeti region. Pasanauri lies about 90 kilometres (56 mi) north of the nation’s capital of Tbilisi, at elevation of 1,050 m. above sea level. Located on the Georgian Military Road, Pasanauri is flanked by the Aragvi River, and surrounded by the Caucasus Mountains. One of the oldest cities of Georgia, it is located approximately 20 kilometres (12 miles) north of Tbilisi at the confluence of the Aragvi river. Due to its historical significance and several cultural monuments, the \"Historical Monuments of Mtskheta\" became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994. Tianetis Munitsip’alit’et’iTianeti is a town in east-central Georgia, in the Caucasus Mountains. It is located at around 42°6′34″N 44°57′19″E / 42.10944°N 44.95528°E.
